Southern Safari Circuit

Tanzania’s south is a wild, remote place, with few developed cities, less transport infrastructure and harder-to-get to National Parks. For many visitors, this very remoteness is the greatest draw – it is here you will find the pure, unadulterated Tanzania, both in terms of wildlife and human culture. The landscape, too is very different – from the lush jungle of the Udzungwa mountains to the dry-season tawny plains of the Selous, or the dramatic, boulder-strewn Ruaha river. The animal species you’ll find in the south differ too, with some southern African mammals such as kudu being present alongside East African residents.
